J.C. and David Nolan eating chips in Salford.

This was taken in Sunny Salford with J.C. (or John Cooper as he is also known - the man responsible for the Factory Records website http://www.cerysmaticfactory.info/) and David Nolan (ex Granada producer and author of 'Bernard Sumner: Confusion' amongst others ...) who has created a map of Salford music throughout the ages in conjunction with Salford Council ... anyway, after the chips, David took me and J.C. on a whistle-stop tour of some of the main attractions including 'The Willows Social Club' where Gary Barlow came 3rd in a talent contest, the house in Little Hulton where the Ryder brothers grew up and the swimming baths where Tim Burgess from The Charlatans learned to swim. Rock 'n' Roll!
